Top Israeli rabbis gathered at Jerusalem’s Western Wall to pray for President Trump’s recovery from COVID-19. The religious officials remembered the President while celebrating the Jewish High Holy Days Monday morning.

This came after news of the President’s positive coronavirus diagnosis rocked the world with leaders across the globe expressing their support and wishes for a speedy recovery.

U.A. Ambassador to Israel David Friedman also joined the rabbis during Monday’s prayer.

“If there’s one thing you can’t do too much of right now is to pray, to pray for the health of the entire world,” he stated. “I was able to have the privilege to pray at this holy place, to pray for people that I know very well who are inflicted with corona and people who I don’t know at all who are inflicted by corona.”

The event came as President Trump continues to show signs of recovery from the coronavirus.
