The Biden administration appears to be satisfied with Facebook’s decision to extend its ban on President Trump’s account. White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki told reporters Wednesday, Facebook’s decision to uphold the ban was legitimate.
President Trump slams Big Tech:
“What Facebook, Twitter, and Google have done is a total disgrace and an embarrassment to our Country. Free Speech has been taken away from the President of the United States because the Radical Left Lunatics are afraid of the truth…”

She claimed the decision was made by an “independent” board, although it’s comprised of prominent far-left activists and political operatives. This came after President Trump launched his new communications platform: From the Desk of Donald J. Trump.
Jen Psaki comments on Facebook decision to ban Trump: “This is an independent board decision and we’re not going to have any comment on the future of the former president’s social media platform.”

When asked about the 45th President’s latest initiative, Psaki refused to comment.
“Well look, I think we are of course a believer in First Amendment rights,” Psaki said. “I think decisions…that the social media platforms need to make is how they address the disinformation, misinformation, especially related to life-threatening issues like COVID-19 and vaccinations, that continue to proliferate on their platforms.”
For his part, President Trump said Facebook and the rest of Big Tech have repeatedly violated the First Amendment.
