Sen. Rick Scott (R-Fla.) said Joe Biden’s foreign policy campaign promises have shown to be “all talk.” In an opinion piece published on Friday, the Florida lawmaker argued Biden’s failed leadership on the world stage has damaged America’s reputation.
Scott went on to say Biden’s weakness has been put on display in the form of the chaotic exit from Afghanistan, which has left thousands of Americans at the mercy of the Taliban. He added since taking office, Biden has repeatedly put the U.S. in vulnerable positions.

Scott has called for a bipartisan investigation into the Afghanistan withdrawal and has called on congressional leaders to launch inquiries.
