Sen. Lindsey Graham’s (R-S.C.) campaign released an ad last week blasting his Democrat opponent Jamie Harrison. It called out Harrison for not mentioning he is a “liberal Democrat” in his recent campaign ads.

The senator posted the message on Twitter Friday and noted that South Carolina needs a “conservative leader with a record of getting things done.”

His campaign’s ad points out that Harrison has praised House Speaker Nancy Pelosi as a “mentor” who ties him to her liberal agenda.

This comes after a poll last month showed a close race between Graham and his Democrat challenger. The Republican is seeking a fourth term in the upper chamber.
