Montage: The Worst Of CNN’s Jim Acosta

CNN’s Jim Acosta, dubbed the “king of fake news” by President Donald Trump, is a big fan of getting airtime at press briefings.

When he’s not whining about not getting questions at the White House press briefings or arguing that Trump doesn’t talk to the press enough, he’s usually found shouting questions at the end of various events. For example, at the end of a February 26 briefing, Acosta yelled, “Will [Trump] be having lunch with Gabby Giffords?” as Sanders left the briefing room.

On March 5 he moaned, “Sarah, this is the third briefing you have not taken a question from CNN,” implying that his network is entitled to questions at every single briefing.

“Do you expect the Justice Department to enforce all subpoenas, Sarah?” he followed up.

His outbursts aren’t relegated to press briefings, as he often shouts questions at the president as well, even when it is made clear that Trump won’t be answering any.

“Mr. President, what did you mean when you said that Kirsten Gillibrand would do anything for a campaign contribution?” he asked at the end of a December bill signing with the president.

Perhaps his silliest shouted question was at the World Economic Forum meeting in Davos, Switzerland in January, when he asked Trump, “Can you be America First but also be rubbing elbows with all these bigwigs?”

Acosta couldn’t even be bothered to respect the President Trump’s solemn remarks after the Parkland shooting, yelling, “Mr. President, why does this keep happening to America?” (RELATED: Acosta Shouts Gun Question After Solemn Trump Speech)
