President Trump slammed Joint Chiefs Chairman Gen. Mark Milley over calls he had with his Chinese counterpart towards the end of Trump’s time in the White House. In a recent interview, the 45th president said Milley’s talks assuring China the U.S. would not attack under his administration was borderline treason because he was unaware of the conversations.
He noted the general was afraid to come in and talk to him in person and blasted him as a “weak man.” Trump also took aim at the Biden administration’s handling of the Afghanistan withdrawal.
“We had a great agreement…no soldiers were killed in 18 months. It was all condition-based,” said Trump. “Who would take the military out first? No agreement says that.”

Trump also said he would have quickly solved the issue of Americans being left behind in Afghanistan if he were still in office.
