Sen. Tom Cotton (R-Ark.) said Joe Biden has taken a “fearful” approach to the Taliban’s control in Kabul. During an interview on Monday, Cotton suggested Biden should be taking a stand against the Taliban by asserting any attempt to attack American citizens would “be destroyed.”

The Republican senator went on to say this kind of approach should be used everyday until every American has been evacuated.

Cotton also pointed to a recent move by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi to bring the House back to a vote for their infrastructure bill. He argued Democrats wanted Afghanistan off the front pages so they could discuss their reckless spending plan.
