President Trump recently weighed in on several issues facing Americans. On Tuesday, he released a series of statements regarding mainstream media’s crime surge cover up, an attack on a former senator and recent claims by Ohio candidates who say they have his support.

Trump began his comments by ripping into the mainstream media for covering up the nation’s violent crime surge. The 45th president said taxpayers deserve their police back and should be able to feel safe again. This comes as violence eats away at big cities with at least 70 residents shot and 12 murdered in Democrat-led Chicago over the weekend.

“What can Chicago Police officers do? They can continue to be brave and courageous,” stated Chicago Police Department Superintendent David Brown. “My question to you is, ask what the courts can do different?”

However, the 45th president asserted that “fraudulent nightly newscasts have devoted zero minutes to crime recently” because they would rather protect the Democrat’s communist agenda than lives of average Americans.

Trump then went on to denounce the defund the police movement after former California Sen. Barbara Boxer was attacked in Oakland, a city where radical leftists cut funding for law enforcement. He bashed Democrat cities defunding its police, writing that they have “become a paradise for criminals because of Democrats.”

Trump urged lawmakers to empower law enforcement and warned that America will never be safe without strong police forces. His remarks come as police forces see more and more officers walk away from the line of duty.

Meanwhile, Trump criticized Ohio candidates running for Congress who claim he supports them. The 45th president said several candidates who are running in state’s 15th Congressional District claim to have his support when in reality he doesn’t “even know who they are.” Trump clarified he only knows and fully endorses GOP republican candidate Mike Carey who he endorsed last month.

Trump has recently been more outspoken via his website, www.donaldjtrump.com, stoking rumors he may be considering a run in 2024.
