New York Congresswoman Elise Stefanik (R) accused the Biden administration of being complicit in New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s (D) nursing home death cover-up. On Friday, Stefanik said thousands of New Yorkers are depending on a thorough investigation of the scandal.

Stefanik has now asked the DOJ Inspector General to look into the matter and find out what Cuomo said to Joe Biden at their White House meeting in February. Additionally, the Department of Justice said they won’t investigate other Democrat-led states for their nursing home policies and deaths.

“I was the first member of Congress to call for an investigation into Governor Cuomo’s corrupt criminal cover-up and I will continue to fight for the families who lost loved ones because of the cruelty and corruption of our governor,” said Stefanik in her statement.

Meanwhile, Cuomo is under investigation by the FBI and the Brooklyn U.S. Attorney’s Office for his handling of the COVID-19 pandemic, along with his $5.1 million book deal.
