The race to replace California’s disastrously unpopular governor, Democrat Gavin Newsom, saw a surprising challenger rise to the top: Tulsi Gabbard.

The former Hawaiian congresswoman hasn’t yet thrown her hat into the ring, but nearly 30,000 people responded to an OAN poll proving Gabbard with over 60 percent of the vote was by far the people’s favorite.

In the Twitter survey Gabbard handily beat second place challenger Caitlyn Jenner by nearly 40 percentage points. Candidate John Cox trailed a distant third with just 10 percent of the vote and GOP pick Kevil Faulconer came in dead last with barely 5 percent of the vote.

Gabbard, a Democrat and decorated army veteran, has always maintained a moderate position and many believe her common sense approach to leadership is exactly what Cailfornia needs.
