California is facing exceptionally dry conditions with around 88 percent of the land experiencing a severe drought.

My guest is Steve Sheldon. He is the board president of Orange County Water District.

He discusses if water conservation in the state is the only way out of the drought and why California hasn’t invested in large-scale water infrastructure over the last few decades.
