A new survey revealed a majority of Americans supported banning transgender athletes from competing in women’s sports. According to the recent poll by Politico and Morning Consult, 53 percent of those surveyed supported a ban while only a third were opposed.

Critics said Joe Biden’s Day One Executive Order, which required schools to include biological males in women’s sports, effectively eliminated women’s sports. President Trump addressed the matter during his appearance at CPAC in February.

“Joe Biden and the Democrats are even pushing policies that would destroy women’s sports,” Trump stated. “A lot of new records are being broken in women’s sports. You know, for years, the weight lifting, every ounce is like a big deal for many years. All of a sudden, somebody comes along and beats it by 100 pounds. It’s not good for women’s sports, which worked so long and so hard to get to where they are.”

Critics said Biden’s order has taken away women’s opportunities on and off the field.
