The goal of the non-profit is to provide common sense solutions to some of the nation’s biggest problems. Carson noted, the new think-tank will focus on promoting and preserving individual and religious liberty. It will also help America’s most vulnerable as well as develop methods to maximize government’s efficiency and effectiveness.
“Through research, dialogue and grassroots efforts, we will work to restore faith, liberty, community and life,” Carson stated. “Both in Washington D.C. and in communities across the country.”
The former Trump administration official said he drew inspiration for the non-profit from his role as HUD secretary. He went on to highlight the importance of collaboration, mutual understanding and ensuring the American dream is attainable.
