Senior Adviser Jared Kushner believes the “Black Lives Matter” movement has gone too far with rioting and looting across the U.S. On Thursday, he highlighted decades of mismanagement by mostly Democrat governors and mayors in areas engulfed by national unrest.
“We need to have constructive dialogue,” he added. “I think this country’s seen enough protests and some of the negative things that can happen.”
According to Kushner, peaceful protest is important, but political violence is unacceptable. He also called for pragmatic solutions for impoverished communities.
“We’re offering solutions with policy, the other side’s doing a lot of complaining. President Trump and this White House are willing to work with them, we’ve reached across the aisle many times. We actually have policies and the ability to execute them. We have a track record of getting things done that actually improves people’s lives and make a difference, unlike a lot of people who are claiming to be their saviors.” – Jared Kushner, Senior Adviser to the President of the United States
The adviser went on to criticize NBA players for using “BLM” riots to bring attention to their profiles. He added everyday Americans don’t have the luxury of taking days off work for virtue signaling.
