Legendary television host Regis Philbin dies at 88

Legendary television host Regis Philbin has died. According to his family, he passed away from natural causes. He was 88 years old.

Philbin rose to fame during his time hosting the daytime talk show “Live with Regis and Kathie Lee.” He was also the original host of the popular game show “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?”

President Trump took to Twitter on Saturday to praise the longtime television personality.

He said Philbin was “one of the greats in the history of television.” The president added he was a fantastic person and friend, who kept telling him to run for president.

President Trump also sent his warmest condolences to Philbin’s wife Joy.
