The Republican National Committee (RNC) has recorded its best month for fundraising this year. The RNC recently announced it raised more than $27 million in April, which brought its total funds to more than $77 million.
On Wednesday, RNC Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel stated April’s numbers showed momentum for the president’s reelection effort. She went on to say Republicans are growing stronger as “we are investing our resources to win.”
The large haul reportedly came after the committee called more than 10 million voters to highlight the president’s accomplishments in office.
Momentum for @realDonaldTrump & Republicans is growing stronger, & we are investing our resources to WIN.
Just last week, we called 10 MILLION voters to say: While Biden hides in his basement & Dems play politics, POTUS is delivering results! https://t.co/5TvhNONv48

Meanwhile, a pair of pro-Trump super PACs have raised nearly $17 million for the president’s reelection bid. According to reports, the America First Policies and America First Action PACs raked in $16.8 million just last month.
The funds added to the more than $60 million the RNC and Trump campaign raised in April.
As of Wednesday, the president’s campaign has about $255 million cash on hand. Officials have already put the funds to work with a $10 million ad blitz, which targeted presumptive Democrat nominee Joe Biden.
