Decision Desk HQ shows Lake with nearly 48% of the vote, while Democrat Ruben Gallego has 50%.

74% of the total votes have been counted as of Thursday afternoon.

Lake took to X on Wednesday, saying “we need all hands-on deck to cure ballots and ensure the vote of every Arizonan counts.”

Gallego also posted on X to thank his team. He also said that they’re feeling optimistic as they wait for the results.

Votes are still being counted. Final results are expected to be released sometime this week.

Republicans are hoping Lake wins to help strengthen their new Senate majority.
