Photos surfaced on Friday, showing North Korean leader Kim Jong Un making his first public appearance in nearly three weeks. The images, which were released by state media, revealed Kim attending a ribbon cutting event for a fertilizer factory.
He was reportedly accompanied by several senior officials, including his sister Kim Yo Jong.

This marked his first public sighting since early April. There has been mounting speculation over Kim’s health after he reportedly underwent heart surgery.
Following the circulation of these pictures, President Trump said he was glad to see the leader “back and well.”
