The disruption followed one of the busiest travel weekends of the year.
According to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), the airline issued the nationwide stop due to a technological computer issue.
The hour delay affected 211 flights nationwide. Flights that were in the air at the time of the halt were not affected.
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) previously stated that there were 46,751 flights scheduled in all of the U.S. on Tuesday.
This is a developing story. More updates to come.
UPDATE (September 5, 2023, 11:40 a.m. PT): Information was updated to reflect flights resuming.
