(SIMI VALLEY, Calif.) Florida’s Republican governor is scheduled to speak at the Reagan Library March 5 as the special guest of the Reagan Foundation and Institute as part of his tour to promote his book “The Courage to be Free: Florida’s Blueprint for America’s Revival,” set to drop February 28th.
Florida’s 46th chief executive, Governor Ronald D. DeSantis (R-Fla.), is coming off his landslide 2022 reelection when he beat Democrat Charles by nearly 20 points and has become an increasingly national figure.
“In The Courage to Be Free, special guest Governor DeSantis delivers something rare from an elected leader: stories of victory,” said the foundation in the release posted on their website. “This book is a winning blueprint for patriots across the country and it is a rallying cry for every American who wishes to preserve our liberties.”
The release said that copies of the book could be ordered as part of the registration process, and the governor would pre-sign the copies before the event.
Before the governor’s 12:30 p.m. appearance onstage, audience members are welcome to an 11 a.m. main courtyard reception with fruit, tea sandwiches, mimosas, coffee, and tea—but the governor is not scheduled to attend the reception.
