All voting machines across a New Jersey district are reportedly down due to a printing and scanning issue with the ballots.

Residents were notified that all voting machines across Mercer County were down on Tuesday morning.

Voters can still vote on a standard ballot and insert their ballot into the “Emergency Slot” in the machine.

The board of elections assured that the makers of the machines are working to resolve the issue.

Poll workers in Maricopa County explained to voters that their machines are also not working and offer an alternative option.

“Or it could be the tabulator itself.,” said a poll worker. “So when it’s misread, you have an option to put it into what’s called box three and it gets read whether it goes and gets read manually or whether it get re-sent into our tabulator. It will get read. So, no one’s trying to deceive anyone. That would never happen right.”

In total, around 20% of the polling places in Maricopa County are seeing issues with the tabulators.

In the meantime, reports noted that voting machines in Virginia are also experiencing malfunctions statewide.
