President Trump is fighting Democrat subpoenas over the Jan. 6 protest. According to Politico on Thursday, the 45th President advised a group of his former staffers to ignore subpoenas by the Democrat-led Jan. 6 committee.

Trump is also reportedly prepared to go to court to block testimonies to the Democrat panel. The committee is seeking testimonies from Trump’s former social media coordinator, Dan Scavino, former Pentagon official Kash Patel, former White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows and Steve Bannon.

Meanwhile, Trump’s spokesperson said Jan. 6 probes were being conducted by “a communist-style select committee who have no legal precedent or legislative merit.” A recent letter added, “President Trump is prepared to defend these fundamental privileges in court.”
