President Trump commented on the Biden administration’s failures in Afghanistan yet again. In a statement released on Monday, the 45th president wrote Joe Biden’s biggest mistake has been not understanding the military was supposed to be the last out the door rather than the first.

Trump went on to say civilians and equipment should have been evacuated first. He added once that was accomplished, then the military could be withdrawn.

Biden has faced heavy criticism for his decision to take U.S. troops out of Afghanistan before evacuating U.S. citizens and Afghan allies. Florida Rep. Byron Donalds (R) has been one of about 11 Republicans who have called for Biden to either resign or be impeached over the withdrawal process in Afghanistan.

Donalds issued a statement on Monday, where he said Biden has lost “complete and total confidence of the American people.” The Republican congressman went on to say, the “botched withdrawal” threatened the lives of U.S. troops and added “Biden has failed on all fronts.”

Trump finished his statement by saying “so simple, and yet it wasn’t done.”
