A new poll showed overall support for military intervention in Afghanistan has dropped. That’s according to an AP-NORC poll, which said nearly two-thirds of Americans said the battle in Afghanistan was not worth fighting.
Similar numbers were also reported for the idea of troops remaining in Iraq. Overall, a slim majority of people said they disapprove of how Joe Biden has handled foreign policy. In addition, 46 percent of voters voiced their disapproval of how he’s handled national security.

One Biden voter from Texas commented on the situation stating, “I don’t believe we should have been in there [Afghanistan] to begin with. But now that we’re leaving, I do feel we probably should stay after seeing, I guess you’d say, the trouble we’ve caused,” said Sebastian Garcia.
This comes as the Taliban has taken control of the region amid the U.S. troop withdrawal and the capture of Kabul.
