The feud between Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-Fla.) and Joe Biden has ramped up to a whole new level. On Tuesday, Biden launched criticism targeting the governors of Texas and Florida where he commanded them to help him or “get out of the way.”

During a speech on Wednesday that covered Florida’s economy, DeSantis addressed Biden’s statements and pointed a finger right back at him.

“Joe Biden has taken to himself to try and single out Florida over COVID. This is a guy who ran for president saying he was going to ‘shutdown the virus’ and what has he done? He’s imported more virus from around the world by having a wide open southern border,” stated DeSantis.

The governor’s point matched that of many lawmakers and health officials who have expressed worry over the effect of the Biden border crisis on the U.S.’s coronavirus infection rate. He went on to expose the hypocrisy of illegals being shipped all over the country, quite possibly spreading the new COVID variants Biden is so watchful of.

DeSantis instructed Biden to do his job and secure our border, adding he doesn’t want to hear a “blip about COVID” out of Biden until that’s done. The governor ended his remarks with a direct response to the man in the White House, letting him know he will stand in the way of the government infringing on Florida’s freedom.

The Biden-DeSantis COVID war comes as the Biden administration has urged states to bring back lockdowns and impose vaccine mandates, while DeSantis leads a number of other governors vowing to follow the science and let people live their lives.
