Former White House economic adviser Larry Kudlow recently explained the issues with the Democrats’ “green energy” push. In an interview Sunday, he highlighted the millions-of-dollars in the new bipartisan infrastructure deal that has been earmarked for green investments.
“If it ain’t broke don’t fix it,” Kudlow stated. “We’ve got the infrastructure bill…I could do without all the ‘green’ stuff, which inflated the cost to taxpayers.”
The former economic adviser pointed out that while Democrats have claimed their energy solutions, such as wind and solar, would produce more energy, the policies enacted under President Donald Trump were actually more beneficial.
“You know the Trump policies gave us cheap and plentiful energy, and the biggest beneficiaries was the blue collar middle class and the lower income classes,” he explained. “This so called climate crisis, which I can’t find, will raise all these costs and really do a lot of damage to the very people who can least afford it.”
Kudlow went on to say that the only thing investing in green energy does is make energy more expensive.
