One woman has died after being treated for serious wounds at a local hospital following a shooting in Portland, Oregon. Additionally, the Portland Police Bureau has said six others were wounded during the shooting on Saturday morning.
Authorities originally said eight people had been injured, including one critically. That number has since been updated.
Reports said Portland police responded to word of gunfire in the downtown area around 2 a.m.

Officers were said to have preformed life-saving measures on several of the victims before paramedics arrived. The suspects reportedly fled the scene beforehand.
The incident currently remains under investigation and authorities said they have made no arrests at this time.
The seven victims were taken to local hospitals in varying conditions. Meanwhile, Portland has seen close to 600 shootings already this year.
