The National Republican Congressional Committee has raised over $45 million in its second quarter haul, outpacing its Democrat counterpart. The NRCC released the numbers on Wednesday with officials saying it marks the most amount raised for a quarter during an off-year in committee history.
In comparison, the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee brought in around $37 million during the same period. “Every vulnerable House Democrat should be eyeing the exits because if they choose to run, they will lose,” said Rep. Tom Emmer (R-Minn.).

NRCC Chairman Emmer, stated the haul would not have been possible without GOP Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.), Minority Whip Steve Scalise (R-La.) and the tens of thousands of generous donors. He added the haul shows Republicans are in a good position to take back the majority next fall.
