President Trump has been set to return to his home state of New York to rally local Republicans against Democrats in the upcoming 2022 elections. According to reports, the 45th president will  headline a fundraiser for the New York State Republican Party.

Organizers have been selling tickets for the event for $1,000 each or $5,000 dollars per couple to attend and have a photo-op with Trump. In addition, tickets for $25,000 are being offered for supporters who wish to take a roundtable photo with the 45th president. All funds raised as a result of the event will be directed towards the New York Republican State Committee.

The Republican Party have continued to slam Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D-N.Y.) for his state leadership and various public scandals. The New York State Republican Party have begun efforts to take back the state, with multiple Republicans seeking the 2022 candidacy for governor. Rep. Lee Zeldin (R-N.Y.) has reportedly become the Republican Party’s presumptive nominee.

The fundraiser has been reported to be held at Trump’s Briarcliff Manor golf course in Westchester. Republicans are expected to discuss several local and statewide offices they hope to occupy after the midterm elections.

The fundraiser is scheduled for August 5.
