The Civics Secures Democracy Act Is a Neo-Marxist Trojan Horse

How can you know, beyond any reasonable doubt, that the Civics Secures Democracy Act is a neo-Marxist Trojan horse to proliferate critical race theory (CRT) “anti-racist” dogma to public schools? There are at least two completely unambiguous tell-tale signs this is the case.

First, Google is aggressively advocating for this bill. It offers a patina of legitimacy because its stated objective is enhancing history and civics education in public school classrooms.  However, Google is fully “woke,” and anything they lobby in favor of must be treated with a healthy dose of skepticism, as their motives are very likely in direct opposition to a healthy, functional democracy.

Second, if you read the recent Department of Education proposed rulemaking, you will see that the objective is to create a federally funded superhighway for proliferating CRT propaganda.  The following is taken from the Department of Education proposed rulemaking, available online on the Federal Register (Document Number: 2021-08068):

“American History and Civics Education programs can play an important role in this critical effort by supporting teaching and learning that reflects the breadth and depth of our Nation’s diverse history and the vital role of diversity in our Nation’s democracy. For example, there is growing acknowledgment of the importance of including, in the teaching and learning of our country’s history, both the consequences of slavery and the significant contributions of Black Americans to our society. This acknowledgment is reflected, for example, in the New York Times’ landmark ‘1619 Project’ and in the resources of the Smithsonian’s National Museum of African American History.

“Accordingly, schools across the country are working to incorporate anti-racist practices into teaching and learning. As the scholar Ibram X. Kendi has expressed, ‘[a]n antiracist idea is any idea that suggests the racial groups are equal in all their apparent differences—that there is nothing right or wrong with any racial group. Anti-racist ideas argue that racist policies are the cause of racial inequities.’ It is critical that the teaching of American history and civics creates learning experiences that validate and reflect the diversity, identities, histories, contributions, and experiences of all students.”

This is grotesquery and demonstrates the Biden Administration’s commitment to regressive, illiberal, neo-Marxist teachings to undermine our democracy. The 1619 Project, so-called, was roundly debunked by numerous historians as anti-historical and replete with inaccuracies and mischaracterizations. The description of CRT’s “anti-racist” teachings, published from a federal agency, completely mischaracterizes its malevolence, studiously avoiding all references to its explicit anti-white sentiment and exhorting adherents to overcome perceived power differentials through domination of other races, with no possibility of reconciliation nor providing any redemptive process. To even propose this sick orthodoxy violates the 14th Amendment and the Civil Rights Act, and it is outrageous that this is contemplated let alone given voice from the Federal Government.

The discourse in our country is broken, and the overt power grab by the regressive Leftists who have, by fiat, completely hijacked the Democratic Party is obscene and a threat to our nation’s near- and long-term prosperity. All citizens who love America and want this grand experiment to succeed must take a stand and let your elected officials, at all levels, know that you do not want any part of this travesty. They are targeting the most vulnerable, our children, and we must unify to stop their evil predations now.
