House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) laid out the problems caused by the Biden administration. During his weekly press briefing Thursday, McCarthy focused heavily on the crisis at the southern border by drawing attention to the record amounts of illegal immigrants, fentanyl and terrorists coming into the U.S.

“Some of the stories that are coming back are very alarming,” McCarthy stated. “One member told me a story: Just last week, they went on patrol at night where they apprehended some illegal immigrants. One of those immigrants was on her plane, flying, and she was coming back here.”

He said Republicans have five suggestions to stop the influx: Finish the wall, deploy technology at the border, fully reinstate the Remain in Mexico policy, maintain Title 42 authority and require a negative COVID test before releasing migrants.

McCarthy added, the crisis could stop if Biden just said the word.

“I don’t believe Democrats are interested in solving the crisis their own policies have actually created,” McCarthy said. “If [Joe] Biden has Vice President Harris in charge, the first thing you’d think she’d want to do is to go see where the problem lies. You’d believe she would want to solve it. There has been no legislation that changed, it was only [Biden] himself.”

The Republican stated this is one of the biggest issues facing the U.S. and the Biden administration needs to step up to the plate. He also highlighted the far-left’s attempts to pack the Supreme Court by expanding it by four seats, which would be just enough to tip the scales in their favor should Biden push through four progressive justices.

The minority leader noted the far-left’s plans would dismantle a government institution in pursuit of their socialist agenda “to totally take over another branch of government to have control purely for political basis.”

McCarthy went on to say, never in his time in politics did he believe Democrats would go this far. He emphasized: “Absolute power corrupts absolutely.”
