As the critical Senate races in Georgia approach their December 31 deadline, the U.S. Postal Service vows to prioritize and treat mail-in ballots as express mail to ensure votes are counted on time.
On Thursday, a federal judge gave the USPS permission to expedite counting processes for the high-stake January 5 Senate races after reaching an agreement with civil rights groups.
People have been especially concerned about the integrity and timeliness of vote counting in the Peach State.
On Thursday, reports revealed more than two million Georgia residents had already voted, which amounted to more than a fourth of the state’s registered voting pool. Of these, around 1.3 million of the votes came through in-person early voting, with another 720,000 as absentee ballots.
On Tuesday, Sen. Kelly Loeffler (R-Ga.) asserted that the results of this election will decide whether America embraces or rejects radical socialist policies.
“If we exercise our responsibility,” Sen. Perdue (R-Ga.) said. “We can protect everything we’ve done over the last four years.”
Sen. Loeffler also emphasized that she and Perdue are the firewall to socialism.
We are the firewall to socialism. Defending the majority starts right here. Now’s the time, Georgia. VOTE EARLY.

“We’re saving America,” Loeffler said. “I know we can get the job done.”
Furthermore, Perdue, who is also running for re-election, urged residents of the Peach State to vote. He also suggested that without a GOP Senate majority, there will be minimal leverage to counter far-left socialist policies.
Experts also said they expected a high voter turnout, as the outcome of the race will determine which party controls the Senate.
