President Trump is extending his holiday wishes to his supporters. In a tweet on Friday, he simply said ‘Merry Christmas!’

In a message via The White House, the President said he and the First Lady send their warmest wishes to all Americans this Christmas.

The President went on to say that in this season of peace, we cherish the warmth, generosity and faith that breathes life into our holiday gatherings.
He also thanked military families for their service and sacrifice for those who are unable to celebrate Christmas together.
