The far-left is setting its sights on the Georgia Senate runoffs, but Republicans are not letting their efforts to weigh-in on the crucial elections go unanswered.
Sen. David Perdue (R-Ga.) is pushing back against a radical leftist lawmaker’s endorsement of his opponent.
Perdue called out his Democrat challenger for embracing far-left lawmaker Bernie Sanders (D-Vt.). In a statement earlier this week, John Burke, the campaign communications director, said Jon Ossoff is making it clear he supports Sanders’ socialist vision for America.
He also said if Ossoff wins, Sanders’ destructive agenda, which includes the Green New Deal and eliminating private health insurance, would become a reality. His remarks came after Ossoff praised the far-left lawmaker’s endorsement in a recent interview.
The Perdue campaign is now out with a new ad, which highlights the similarities.
The connection is clear. If you choose @Ossoff, you choose Bernie – and all the radical policies that come with him. –> https://t.co/x9CUybfGzw#GASen #gapol pic.twitter.com/PJFTo59IjK

In a tweet on Tuesday, Perdue warned voters if they choose Ossoff, they choose Sanders and all the radical policies he comes with.
On Wednesday, President Trump stated he will be heading down to the Peach State to help prevent a potential Democrat takeover of the upper chamber.
Will be going to Georgia for a big Trump Rally in support of our two great Republican Senators, David and Kelly. They are fantastic people who love their Country and love their State. We must work hard and be sure they win. #USA
