Mich. Gov. issues new COVID-19 restrictions amid surge in cases

On Sunday, Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer (D-Mich.) announced new rules meant to limit the number of indoor gatherings. Whitmer said indoor gatherings would be limited to 10 people from two households and outdoor gatherings will be limited to 25.

In recent weeks coronavirus cases have risen in the state, which health officials largely attribute to an increase in indoor gatherings as the weather becomes colder.
