Vice President Mike Pence recently took part in a roundtable with Jewish community leaders in Doral, Florida. Thursday’s event, organized by Jewish Voices for Trump, came as part of the Vice President’s “Faith in America” tour.

Pence discussed the Trump administration’s efforts to support the Jewish community and called the President “a true champion of the Jewish people.”

“This is a president that understands…understands strength and understands standing with our allies,” he stated. “And I want to tell you, I couldn’t be more proud to be serving alongside a president who’s made it clear that if the world knows nothing else, the world knows this — America stands with Israel.”

The Vice President also touted the President’s passing of the Anti-Semitism Bill and the Holocaust Education Act. Rabbis attending the roundtable went on to praise the administration for its devotion to upholding religious freedom.
