Just hours after announcing his pick for the Supreme Court, President Trump continued his campaign trail to Pennsylvania. On Saturday night, the President held a rally at Harrisburg International Airport in Middletown.
The event marked his second visit to the state this week alone. This comes as the Trump campaign has been shifting its focus to the essential battleground state.
President Trump started off the rally in high spirits. He traveled straight from the White House Rose Garden, where he nominated Judge Amy Coney Barrett to the Supreme Court earlier that day.
“Judge Barrett is a brilliant legal mind, an extraordinary scholar, number one in her class, one of the most respected people,” he said.

He also touted his allegiance to law enforcement.
“The Democrat Party’s war on cops is putting police officers at risk,” he stated. “As President, I will always stand with the heroes of law enforcement.”

He went on to highlight his administration’s efforts to fight the coronavirus.
“They’re approving things in a fraction of the time,” added President Trump. “On November 3rd, Pennsylvania will decide whether we end the pandemic and defeat the virus.”

He also addressed the threat of mass mail-in voting.
“This is going to be a disaster,” he said. “All I’m asking is people go out to vote and stop with this nonsense, we’re going to be counting ballots for the next two years.”
Ahead of Tuesday’s presidential debate, the President also took aim at his Democrat opponent Joe Biden.
“That’s what you call a really dishonest, dumb politician,” he stated. “But we look forward to seeing him in the debate.”
