The Navy SEAL who killed Osama Bin Laden fired off a tweet Tuesday about guns that is sure to upset gun control activists across the nation.
“Eight killed and 29 people shot in Chicago over the weekend,” he tweeted. “They need stricter gun laws.”

O’Neill has been pretty outspoken about gun laws in the past. As a highly trained military operator who knows his way around almost every gun around, O’Neill is often hailed as a gun and Second Amendment expert in 2018. (RELATED: SEAL Who Killed Bin Laden Defends The Second Amendment)
But that didn’t stop twitter users from sounding off and criticizing the SEAL anyway.
Many wrote his statement off as an NRA talking point.
