Senator Chuck Grassley celebrated the marriage of the 20^th couple that met working at his office.

Over the weekend, Grassley’s chief of staff, Jennifer Heins, married Nick Davis in Cedar Rapids. The Iowa senator announced the news on Monday in a post on X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter.

Grassley (R-Iowa) announced that they were now the 20^th couple that married after meeting in his office.

The post began circulating social media and the senator gained his nickname of the “ultimate matchmaker.”

On X, some people suggested that working at Grassley’s office might be a fantastic way to meet someone.

“Deleting dating apps to meet someone the old-fashioned way (working in Chuck Grassley’s office),” one user wrote in a post.

The 90-year-old is the longest-serving Republican in U.S. Senate history, having recently surpassed Orrin Hatch (R-Utah) in January 2023. Hatch passed away in April 2022.
