Former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley says she will not debate Florida Governor Ron DeSantis again in the 2024 Republican primary. She is only open to debating presidents Donald Trump or Joe Biden.

Following Trump’s historic win in the Iowa Caucus on Monday, Haley’s (R-S.C.) campaign released a statement saying Trump, who has so far skipped Republican debates citing his lead, “has nowhere to hide.”
“We’ve had five great debates in this campaign,” the former South Carolina governor said. “Unfortunately, Donald Trump has ducked all of them. He has nowhere left to hide. The next debate I do will either be with Donald Trump or with Joe Biden. I look forward to it.”
After her statement, the Florida governor accused Haley of dodging a rematch with him saying she’s “afraid of tough questions” and is only running to be President Donald Trump’s vice president.
“The reality is that she is not running for the nomination, she’s running to be Trump’s VP,” DeSantis (R-Fla.) said on X.
Haley attended a one-on-one debate with DeSantis just ahead of the Iowa Caucus.
