Senator Marsha Blackburn has been pushing to bring manufacturing back to the United States, calling for an end to the dependency on China.
On Monday, Blackburn (R-Tenn.) took to her Twitter account, sharing a video of herself walking through one of Tennessee’s major manufacturers.
Blackburn’s leadership philosophy is dedicated in promoting opportunities for women and making America a more prosperous place to live. She said the government needs to realize that they do not create jobs, the private sector does.
The Tennessee Republican also discussed the impact of inflation and rising fuel prices on the cost of goods.
“They’re going to have risen prices of their products so that they still have a little bit of a profit mark on the cost, the costs of those inflicts and that energy is making it very difficult for manufacturers to make ends meet,” Blackburn said.
The senator asserted that she will not stop fighting to bring manufacturing back to America, ending reliance on Communist China.
