President Joe Biden is set to deliver a primetime speech less than one week away from the midterm elections.

On Wednesday, Biden will deliver an address from Union Station near the Capitol Hill. It is believed he will talk about on what the DNC is calling “protecting and preserving democracy.” The President is expected to take aim at those he alleges to be “election deniers” and opponents of his vision of democracy.

According to White House Adviser Anita Dunn, the location of the speech is meant to be a deliberate reference to January 6th, which she claims was a violent attempt to subvert democracy.
