Wyoming Republicans have officially let Rep. Liz Cheney know that she’s fired. In a major landslide victory on Tuesday, Trump-endorsed candidate Harriet Hagemen demolished Cheney with over 60 percent of the vote.

Hagemen commented on her victory over Cheney, who has come under fire for her involvement in the January 6 Committee.

“Today, Wyoming has spoken,” stated the GOP winner. “Wyoming has spoken for everyone all across this great country who believes in the American dream, who believes in liberty and recognizes that our natural rights — the freedom of speech, freedom of religion, equal protection and due process — come from God.”

Meanwhile, in a separate press conference Cheney accepted her defeat while drawing comparisons between herself and President Abraham Lincoln. She also seemingly took a shot at 45th President Donald Trump by saying all candidates should accept the outcome of an election with honor in reference to the 2020 presidential election.

“Our Republic relies upon the goodwill of all candidates for office to accept honorably the outcome of elections,” said Cheney. “And tonight, Harriet Hageman has received the most votes in this primary. She won. I called her to concede the race. This primary election is over, but now the real work begins.”

Hagemen has yet to confirm if Cheney had indeed called her to concede the primary, but she vowed to take the country back from the Democrats.

“What Wyoming has shown today is that while it may not be easy, we can dislodge entrenched politicians who believe they have risen above the people they are supposed to represent,” she stated.

Trump took to Truth Social to graduate Hagemen for her victory while taking a hit a Cheney for her “spiteful, sanctimonious words and actions towards others.” In a separate post he commented on Cheney’s “uninspiring concession speech,” while pointing to “conclusive evidence” that suggests the 2020 Presidential Election was “rigged and stolen.”

“Congratulations to Harriet Hageman on her great and very decisive WIN in Wyoming. This is a wonderful result for America, and a complete rebuke of the Unselect Committee of political Hacks and Thugs. Liz Cheney should be ashamed of herself, the way she acted, and her spiteful, sanctimonious words and actions towards others. Now she can finally disappear into the depths of political oblivion where, I am sure, she will be much happier than she is right now. Thank you WYOMING!”

In the meantime, Hagemen will move on to November’s general election where she will face off against Democrat candidate Lynnette Greybull.
