At least two people are expected to face charges in connection to a deadly shooting in Philadelphia. During a press conference Monday, Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krasner said he expects to approve charges as the investigation continues.

“We are expecting to approve charges later today for at least two people in connection to what we anticipate are non-fatal shootings,” Krasner said.

The incident happened Saturday, when multiple suspects opened fire on a large crowd after an argument erupted between two individuals. Three people were killed and 12 others were injured in the crossfire. A first responder injured one of the alleged gunmen when they arrived on the scene.

“We will have a lot more to say later,” Krasner voiced. “Hour by hour we are finding out more information.”

Two guns were recovered from the scene. Police Inspector D F Pace said one of the guns had an extended magazine.

Police are investigating several other shootings before and afterward the incident to see whether they might be related or not.
