Two people are recovering from injuries and two are dead following a shooting at a Nebraska grain elevator.
According to Nebraska’s State Police on Thursday, at approximately 2 p.m. local time the shooter who has been identified as Max Hoskinson of Superior, Nebraska, opened fire at the Agrex grain elevator. It was reported that Hoskinson, 61, was previously employed by the company.
Police said he was fired earlier in the day and returned to the facility with a handgun. He then opened fire, shooting three people and killing one. An employee is then said to have retrieved a shotgun from an office and shot Hoskinson, who later died as a result of his injuries.
NSP is investigating a shooting incident that occurred in Superior this afternoon.
There is no active threat to the public.
Investigators are on scene. We will provide information when possible as the investigation is now in the early stages.

The two victims were transported to a local hospital where one was discharged and the other remains in critical condition.
Nebraska Gov. Pete Ricketts (R) called the shooting “shocking and devastating” and gave his prayers to the victims.
