Both suspects have been arrested in a quadruple homicide investigation in Wisconsin. On Thursday, police in Saint Paul, Minnesota arrested Darren McWright in connection to the murders. On Friday, the Dunn County Sheriff’s Office in Wisconsin announced 38-year-old Antoine Darnique Suggs surrendered himself to authorities in Arizona.
Both suspects, father and son, are accused of shooting and killing two men and two women after authorities found the bodies in an SUV in a cornfield last week. The suspects face charges of hiding a corpse and police are confident at least one of the suspects could see more serious charges.
“We certainly believe that one of them could be responsible for the homicide,” said Dunn County Sheriff Kevin Bygd.
The victims and the suspects are all believed to have known each other as they are reportedly from the same neighborhood. Additionally, Suggs’ Arizona ID card was found inside the vehicle containing the bodies. Suggs and one of the victims were reportedly seeing each other and he would make frequent visits to Arizona to see her.
Authorities have claimed preliminary tests show the victims were killed by gunshot wounds. Sheriff Bygd said the belief is that the victims were killed in Minnesota and then moved to Wisconsin.
In the meantime, Suggs will reportedly be transferred to Phoenix, Arizona to await extradition to Wisconsin.
