California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) made a final push in the home stretch of the election set to determine his fate by targeting the top contender to replace him, conservative radio host Larry Elder. Elder went on his own campaign blitz to reach for every vote until polls have been set to close on Tuesday.
“So there’s no front that where I can think of where this man has done a good job, not on schools, not on homelessness,” Elder explained. “Not in the way he shut down this state to the point where we’ve only recovered half of our jobs pandemic as opposed to two thirds national average.”
ONE DAY left to VOTE YES and SAVE CALIFORNIA.

Actress and activist Rose McGowan stepped onto the campaign trail to stump for Elder in the final days, with claims Newsom’s wife tried to persuade her to stay quiet with her allegations against producer Harvey Weinstein back in 2017. Newsom has denied these accusations.
Elder has been among 46 candidates in the running for the governor’s mansion and has steadily remained the top contender. Other Republican candidates include a San Diego Mayor Kevin Faulconer, businessman John Cox, state Assemblyman Kevin Kiley and former Olympian Caitlyn Jenner. Nine Democrats were also among the replacement candidates.
If a majority of recall voters vote yes, Newsom will be removed from office. The second question on the ballot determines who will replace him.
