Joe Biden defended his chaotic withdrawal from Afghanistan by saying it could not have been more orderly. Biden took an angry and defensive tone while speaking from the White House on Tuesday.
Biden’s remarks came just 24 hours after America’s longest war came to an end. He called the mission, which left 13 U.S. service members dead, an extraordinary success.
13 American soldiers are dead – most of them between the ages of 20-23 because they were put in harms way chaotically in the line of fire of a suicide bomber. Disappointed and disgusted President Biden says “this couldn’t have been done in a more orderly manner”.

Biden claimed it was his decision to end the war in April and again shifted blame to President Trump for his plan to leave by May 1.
“We reached out 19 times to Americans in Afghanistan with multiple warnings and offers to help them leave Afghanistan, all the way back as far as March,” he stated. “After we started the evacuation 17 days ago, we did initial outreach and analysis and identified around 5,000 Americans who had decided earlier to stay in Afghanistan, but now wanted to leave. ”
Biden went on to promise to make arrangements for those who remain to be rescued. He also claimed the only option was to leave or escalate and added this was the best decision for America.
