As many have raised concerns over Joe Biden’s continuation to dodge reporters questions, the White House denied he has been elusive. After White House Communications Director Kate Bedingfield told MSNBC on Friday that Joe Biden has never shied away from reporters questions, Republicans on Twitter had a field day.

Sen. Tom Cotton (R-Ark.) called the comments delusional and dishonest. In addition, Rep. Kat Cammack (R-Fla.) said it was well known Biden has been dodging questions. She went on to ask where Kamala Harris has been through all of this.

Reporter: “The White House press corps and the American people have a lot of direct questions for him. Will he take those today?”

Bedingfield: “The president never shies away from taking questions. I’ll let him make a decision if he’s gonna take questions this afternoon, but you saw he just did a full sit-down interview on this just yesterday. He is always willing to take questions.”

Biden has been taking a public relations beat down for his lack of transparency regarding the Afghanistan troop withdrawal as tens of thousands of Afghans and American citizens have awaited transport planes in attempt to flee Taliban rule in Kabul.
