White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki has refused to answer questions about the White House COVID-19 situation, saying she’ll instead circle back to questions regarding the matter.

During Friday’s daily press briefing, Psaki reiterated the White House’s talking point on the importance to raise the U.S. vaccination rate. However, when asked to share the percentage of White House employees who have been vaccinated, she insinuated that question was off limits.

Another reporter asked Psaki if she was hiding something after her refusal to provide any information on the breakthrough coronavirus cases spreading among White House staffers. Psaki again dismissed the question by asking the reporter why she was asking the question.

Critics stressed the White House should want to brag about its vaccination rate and assure the American people that the virus situation within the White House is under control.
